Cut back on salt and salty dishes, because they cause:
- High blood pressure by narrowing the veins;
- Water retention, which results in puffiness, the feeling of fullness and depression;
- Hunger, which results in an eating compulsion and finally in gaining weight;
- Abnormal thirst, because the salt infiltrates the body, and the body tries to remove it with excess water.
