The optimal level, however, needs to be maintained, so you need antioxidants to neutralise the excess amount of free radicals.
The most common antioxidants are: vitamins C and E, beta-Carotene, flavonoids, Selenium, Manganese. Copper, Zinc.
You should have 5 servings of fresh fruit a day, seeds, walnut, peanuts and a teaspoon of olive oil!
