How to like drinking water

It has been scientifically proven that many serious diseases result from an imbalance of the body’s internal water equilibrium. Some of the diseases include high blood pressure, asthma, stomach ulcers, allergies, joint inflammation, constipation, headache, and digestive problems. An insufficient intake of water is also one of the major causes of obesity. Since thirst and hunger often go together, an individual who drinks little can easily confuse the feeling of thirst with the feeling of hunger. Therefore, he or she is likely to misinterpret his or her body’s water deficient state and eat instead of drink. The easiest way to...

You must recognise the symptoms of dehydration in your child. Symptoms include continuous signals to the digestive system, the stomach, any sort of pain in the bowels, joint pains, migraine, high blood pressure, and dark urine. These are all signs of dehydration. Dry mouth and dry lips are critical signs and we must not wait for them!

The body's water content is the highest at birth and decreases a little each year. The body mass of an adult is 75% water and 25% solid material dissolved in water. 85% of our brain tissue is water. The current medical theory is that attention should be focused on researching solid material. On the other hand, because water has a 75% majority in the body, water is clearly a controlling chemical. Therefore, water is not only a solvent, but it regulates all the functions of the body. This is why drinking water regularly is very important! Your body receives a double energy explosion if you do a lung exercise after each glass of water.

It is exceedingly important for children to drink adequate amount of water. Clean water is necessary for the proper functioning of their lungs, muscles, and joints. Based on his or her body weight, you can calculate the ideal amount of water for your child: English System: Per 12 pounds, you need to calculate 1 cup  water! For example, if your child is 60 pounds, then 60/12=5, then it should be 5 cups. Metric System: Per 3 kilograms, you need to calculate one-decilitre water! For example, if your child is 30 kg, then 30/3=10, 10X1 dl=1 litre. If you have quality tap water, mixing of 50% of tap water with 50% of mineral...

Do not be afraid that the child's kidneys will not be able to handle the increased amount of water. Quite the contrary; the real problem occurs when the urine is dark, meaning that the kidneys are working overtime. It is like running an engine without any lubrication.

When the urine is light the whole day, transparent, almost colorless and the child gets thirsty every two to three hours, it indicates that everything is fine. The urge for urination should be present every two to three hours as well. Correct water balance is usually re-established within two to three weeks and, even in more severe cases, within no more than two to three months.

Saliva is a fluid that has therapeutic value. It kills pathogens, disinfects, fights tooth decay and preserves the proper healthy smell of the mouth. The saliva's enzymes also initiate digestion. Since it has so many good properties, we should not spit our saliva out. Always swallow it! You can also accumulate saliva. Then, perform a "mouth bath" with the accumulated saliva and only swallow after that.

The most important thing is to lead by example. If children see that their parents drink only water, they will drink more water as well. It is best if there are no soft drinks or juices but only non-carbonated mineral water at home. Many people dislike water because it has little or no taste. However, water is very likable. Water accepts everything and lets everything in and that is why it is so defenceless. Water is life itself and that is why it cannot turn away any material. Water does not believe that anything or anybody could mean harm to it. We cannot blame water for transporting contamination everywhere. It is humankind’s...

It is a misconception that every fluid is the same as water. It is of course no question that they contain water. However, they also contain solid material as well. Our body needs water to process and digest solid material. Therefore, if you drink fluid that has high solid material/ water ratio, then your body will not get the clean water that it requires for good digestion. The minimum daily amount of water is about 5 cups (one litre) for a child, or precisely 1 cup per every 12 pounds (1 dl per every 3 kilograms). Additionally, it is also possible to consume tea, soup, and fruits. Beverages that contain caffeine have diuretic...
